Hinterland's Oxbow Mirror combines a perfect arc, mystic mirror effects, and a simple platform for display or function. The oxbow form is derived from the cutoff section of an old meandering river when the water finds an easier pathway through a valley. Leaving a horseshoe or oxbow lake alongside a flowing river. Like a leftover reminder of where the waterway once traveled.

Neri&Hu took a section of a traditional pattern, altered its scale and reinterpreted its form in solid brass with hand-blown colored glass globes. This understated solid wood mirror has beautiful detailing, from the innovative joinery and pared down form, to the carefully considered hanging mechanism which allows the mirror to rest evenly against the wall. The mirror can be hung in two orientations - there is no top or bottom, allowing the user to choose their preferred orientation according to the unique wood grain on every piece.

It’s believed that ancient Egyptians may have had the technology to harness electricity and create light thousands of years ago. This technology is referred to as the light of the Dendera Temple. This customizable pendant light combines ancient Egyptian mysticism with modern home design. Dendera is suspended above dining tables, kitchen islands, bar seating; wherever people gather for good conversation.

The Tower Lamp

The Extend Mirrors are an abstraction of the common bamboo ladders used as household objects inside and outside country homes in China. These mundane ladders functioned as an ever-ready stand for hanging a wide variety of things from tools and cloths to dried food. A Chinese ladder is a reflection of its owner, revealing information about them based on how they choose to use it. As a tribute to this utilitarian household symbol, Neri&Hu used three different ladder proportions to make a set of solid hardwood frames for floor standing mirrors — literal reflections of the user.

Steel Barn Lamp

Steel and beeswax. Hand made by using a slug of steel, heating it up in a forge, cooling half, then crushing down with the brute force of a power hammer. Surface hand finished while still hot by melting beeswax into the pores of the steel. Every one unique in form by the nature of the process. The series was named after seeing its resemblance in form to a grove of alder trees. Better in numbers.

Illuminati Lamp

Utilizing simple, succinct design and minimal forms, Masahi Ifuji translates the beauty of stillness through his wood works. Ifuji's wooden shaker boxes have gained high praise throughout Japan.
Ifuji has been making these beautiful interpretations of the Shaker Box since 2005.  First, the plywood is cut to the thickness of 2mm, then soaked in hot water and dried for two days in a rounded shape. The pointed belt is made of natural dyes and meticulously cut. All this is handcrafted by Masahi Ifuji himself.
Ifuji seeks perfection by carefully upholding the aesthetic form and practicality in the boxes explaining, "You can not use a framework like prototype due to the natural habit and variations of the wood. Every object is made by hand and therefore bears a shape that is slightly different from others."

In Tremolo signifies the final stage of Adam Jeppesen’s expansive Flatlands Camp Project. Based on the 487 day photographic journey from pole to pole and five years of artistic endeavour, the book marks the conclusion of an extraordinary voyage into a world of ethereal landscapes devoid of any finite markers.
The all-pervading visual noise from dust and scratches on the negatives continue to cloud the transparency of the motifs and fundamentally alters their expression. The grainy and desecrated images become fragmentary portraits of a reverberating terrestrial surface that sends vibrations through its impressions, like visual music. As a poem composed of images In Tremolo presents a vision of the terrestrial landscape from a vaporous, almost planetary perspective.
