Designer Peter Bowles used an actual mold from the 1940's that produced these lamps for offices and factories at the time, but then he updated it for a more modern setting. We think it's an ideal choice for a kitchen, dining room, or workspace, since it is mostly downward lighting. The lamp is UL listed and suitable for commercial spaces. This lamp is the larger version of the Titan 1. Manufactured in a factory in the UK dedicated to green manufacturing practices.

The iconic three shade system of the PH series of lighting fixtures was created in 1925/1926 by Poul Henningsen for an exhibition in Paris. The designer was determined to produce glare free lighting that was directed where it was needed most while creating soft shadows. The three shade system creates an even distribution of light as each shade reduces the light equally due to their distance from the light source. This is the first lamp to have been created using the scientific model of the logarithmic spiral as a basis for light distribution. There have been approximately one thousand variations of the original lamp with several floor, table, wall, and pendant versions currently available.

Phantom is a series of voluminous lamps made from a special semi-transparent resin material. The outlines of archetypical chandeliers have served as inspiration for the lamps’ dramatic silhouettes, which in the ivory veil achieve a soft iconic character.

The lamps are made from a steel skeleton, around which the elastic resin is sprayed in closely-spaced threads, as a silkworm forms its cocoon. Space Copenhagen’s ambition was to design a lamp with a simple industrial feel, but which was still elegant and poetic. The Copenhagen Pendant is an exercise in contrasts. Combining the classic and the modern, the maritime and the industrial. The series started with one pendant in three sizes in 2014 and was extended in 2018 with two table lamps, one wall lamp and one floor lamp.
For UL listing, a UL licensed electrician replaces the socket and wiring with UL approved components. An up-charge applies to each lamp that is retrofitted and UL labeled.
