The Shell Chair series has a contemporary and elegant silhouette defined by the sculptural wooden frame and a “floating seat” that creates an interaction of stability and dynamism. The frame is crafted in solid FSC certified oak with a choice of three different water-based stains and upholstery from Sorensen Leather.

The Mater Shell Dining Chair is now introduced with a new and softer leather upholstery version of the Mater Shell Chair designed by Michael Dreeben. The collaboration Sorensen Leathers, brings a new softness and tactility to the Mater collection.

Available in two leathers; Dunes, a chrome-free aniline leather which gives the material a beautiful and patinated look over time in black or rust, and Ultra, a black or cognac colored pigmented leather that is durable, easy to maintain and resists stains.

A layer of foam makes the chair seat a more comfortable and soft experience.

The frame is crafted in solid FSC certified oak with a choice of three different water-based stains; soaped, sirka grey and a black stain.
