The Flindt Wall is fitted with LED light sources - positioned at the top of the specially designed light slit to emit both horizontal and vertical light, creating optimal illumination. The downward light also illuminates the Flindt Wall itself, allowing the design to play an active role in the light experience as a whole. This design concept fulfills key criteria in Louis Poulsen’s lighting philosophy: that the design of the fixture must remain recognizable when the light is switched on and that it should be possible to form an impression of the light distribu tion even when the fixture is switched off.
