Hex Pendant 1000

The Ronde Pendant is Oliver Schick's first product for Gubi. The bell-shaped piece has reference to the traditional pendant lamp and the heyday of 1970s lightning design; however, in a modern interpretation.

A unique detail is the opening on the top with an overhanging collar that reminds of a jar such as a vase or an amphora. The mainly downwards directed light from conventional pendant lamps does in this design also spread out of the spout-like opening and casts a smooth light gradient at the wire and ceiling. The hand-turned aluminum lamp shade with an ultra-matte lacquer almost makes it look as if it was made of ceramics.

Ronde is in several languages the word for round, circular or rotating but it is also the flat blank used for metal spinning technique, which is rotating around a molded core and shaped to a 3-dimensional body.

Flos Aim Multi-pendant Canopy

Void Light Mini is a pendant light referencing the Olympic medals. Solid brass sheets are pressed, spun and brazed to form a double wall shade. The double walls reflect and soften the light emitted from a concealed halogen bulb. This mysterious lighting object is hand polished to create a mirrored surface which is then lacquered to maintain a high gloss finish. Void Mini is also available in polished Stainless Steel and Copper. Comes with 4.9" dia ceiling canopy for installation. 25W (max) G9 frosted halogen bulb. UL Listed.

Similar to the Moon Scraplight, the large sphere of the Sun Scraplight Frame is a romantically sculptural masterpiece, exhibiting exquisite handmade craftsmanship in every section of artfully arranged corrugation which varies to mimic intricate woodcarvings and allow differing amounts of light to be diffused from every angle. Each Sun Scraplight is assembled with non-toxic adhesives and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant.
